 The Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Service (PCS) is a group ‘B’ service under the administrative jurisdiction of the state government.  It has a cadre strength of nearly 1100 gazetted officers, of whom about two-thirds are recruited directly to PCS through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) with the approval of the Governor of the state. The remaining one third is promoted from the subordinate categories like Tahsildar etc. through the departmental exams conducted by the state government.

For nearly 100-200 vacancies in PCS for which a 3 stage exam is conducted by UPPSC each year, about 4.5 lakh aspirants appear at the Prelims level. Therefore, it remains an extremely tough exam and only those aspirants who have genuinely high awareness levels relating to a wide range of subjects included in the syllabus can hope to clear even the Prelims stage. The ceiling for the number of aspirants who would clear the Prelims is generally 14 times the actual number of vacancies.

Thus for say, 200 vacancies, the number of aspirants allowed to clear Prelims would be about 2,800. This would be segmented on the basis of all extant reservation quotas. Therefore, when an aspirant has to compete with 4 lakh peers to be in the first 2,800 positions, this level of proficiency can come only through personally customized coaching. The fees for the one year personally customized coaching for PCS Prelims 2021 is Rs.60,000/- to be paid in three equal installments. Rs.20,000/- is required to be paid at the time of joining the coaching and identical amounts are required to be paid in October and January. Classes will be held five days a week at mutually convenient timings. Aspirants come with different skill sets and varying needs. It is not mandatory that all aspirants should sit together in the same class.
